S.T.E.M.

As Compassion Takes Action visits the Rohingya Refugee Camps and the orphanages in Dhaka, we prepare Science, technology, engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) based lessons. As many studies have shown, STEM education fosters ingenuity and creative, builds resistance, encourages experimentation and knowledge application, and teaches problem solving (www.thedadvocate.org). On our trip in February of 2020, our most popular lesson was circuit building. We saw students (and their teachers) show instant and focused interest as they built their own working circuits to illuminate their artwork.
