Compassion Takes Action works with Adria Wolf, owner of Bula Jean’s Boutique on Etsy, to bring durable, comfortable shoes to children in Bangladesh. Adria’s group of friends and partners work tirelessly to make muck shoes... shoes made from recycled bicycle inner tubes for soles and canvas for the top. They are lined with soft wool and each pit comes with a handmade doll. We have distributed 100 pair of muck shoes to children on the streets in Dhaka and Rohingya children in the refugee camps. The shoes and the accompanying dolls have brought so much relief and joy.
